"They say some families are bound by blood. But mine? It was stitched together by stories. And although I joined late, quietly, like a forgotten line slipping into a poem— I found my place in AESOP." ~Somaya, 15
When Fatima started at AESOP, she couldn't speak English. AESOP helped her become a voice for the voiceless.
Each semester, we enroll over 600 girls and women, from school kids to mothers. Each with a beautiful spirit and a bright future that they refuse to let go.
As we plan for the next academic year, AESOP aims to:
Expand our curriculum to include more languages
Increase financial support access from 12% to 50% of students
Hire part-time staff, primarily Afghan women in the U.S., to strengthen quality and oversight
